Running Races

So some people know, some don't but I've made the executive decision (against my bodies better judgment) to get in shape this summer. To do that, I've decided to push myself to the max and actually sign up for a few things. By things I mean marathons. Don't worry, its only a half marathon, a 5k, a 1 mile, and a duathalon. It sounds like a lot, but I'm confident that whatever doesn't kill me... will only make me stronger? On the upside I've decided IF I win anything to donate half to charity and keep the other half for running/training next year.

So now I bet your wondering what I signed up for right? The Bloomington Iron Girl, which is a 2 mile run a 22 mile bike and another 2 mile run. The 1 mile, 5k and 10 mile are all part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. As for training, I will be training with TEAM in Training, in exchange for training and support, I help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia -- the No. 1 disease killer of children -- lymphoma and myeloma.
