10 Things I Hate About Minnesota

I don't hate Minnesota, not even a little bit, not even at all. I don't like cold weather, but let's face it that only lasts for three or four months. Spring and fall are gorgeous. The art district is thriving and fun. We have a variety of stores, boutiques, farmers markets, restaurants and pubs. I've learned more about organic food and wine in the past four years then I can recall. Its odd to me that you can only purchase liquor at special stores, pre-8pm, and not on Sunday.

People watching in uptown is beyond amusing. Attending networking events provides daily entertainment (unless it is summer, someone please rectify that).

Minneapolis is the cleanest big city I've ever seen. It's not Paris but the people are nice enough. Our skin is white as snow but tanning is available for those of us who pretend to be tanorexic.

What can I say Minnesota, I miss you every time I leave. I feel like I live in the artic tundra from November's first snowmaggedon on through March, but really I don't hate Minnesota. Happy Friday.
