When you've been in business for over thirty years, you get to meet a few people. Build a few relationships. Launch some great ideas. The Client of the Month is no ordinary accolade at Risdall Advertising Agency. It's our way of spotlighting a variety of clients and what makes them great.
Every month we feature a different RAA client right here on our web site, with digital versions of their marketing materials and a link to their web site. And when you visit our office, you'll see more of their work in our Client of the Month Showcase.
Take a few minutes and get to know these great companies and their people. We're honored to work with them and share their stories.
Twin Cities Originals
June 2007 Client of the Month
Profile
Responding to an explosion of chain restaurants, Twin Cities Originals (TCO) was formed in 2001 by a group of independently owned restaurants in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area to promote and preserve unique dining experiences in the Twin Cites. Currently, 37 restaurants belong to TCO.
What makes them great:
In a highly competitive business, TCO restaurants work together to promote one another and raise awareness of all independent restaurants. By pooling their resources, the coalition works to level the playing field for independents, and grow the level of creativity and enthusiasm in the Twin Cities dining scene.
The RMG Scoop:
In addition to creating all the consumer advertising materials for the organization, Risdall Advertising and Risdall McKinney Public Relations were instrumental in helping TCO through all aspects of researching, planning and executing both the inaugural Taste of the Twin Cities Originals event held in July 2006, and the subsequent Taste of the Twin Cities Originals winter event held in January of 2007.
The goal for each event was to generate awareness and revenue for TCO and its future marketing efforts to promote the culinary/dining trade. With ticket sales and attendance exceeding expectations (even in the dead of winter with 30° below temperatures), both events were labeled a resounding success.
