One big tips I remembered to note: Make sure that your website is coded for the mobile web and not just for smart phones, have it specially coded for feature phones. Feature phones generally have smaller screens, and will not look as well if you don't design your site for it. Keep in mind you can have the site recognize the browser or phone to adjust accordingly.
We also discussed Gowalla and Foursquare.
There where tons of brilliant smartphones, iPhone and Android, mobile developers in that room. I admit I am not an expert in Java (the code used for app development), nor am I an expert in push notification, fortunately Agency Couture recently hired Breon and two Java developers to help with these little feats.
