Do you want to interact with your clients? Do you want them to think you are human? If those answers are yes and you are willing to communicate with people like a person, then you can join us via social media. If the answer is no, or I'm not ready then ask yourself why and then consider waiting to join social media or risk a big fail. If you can't talk to people, hate people, want to be secretive or only market to people then social media just isn't the place for you. Trust me, it's not. For those of you who answered yes, read on.

- Add a Twitter/Facebook/(other sites) widget or feed onto your website
- Let people comment on your website articles.
- Allow people to favorite/comment on your articles, products, services.
- Let your customers interact on your site. Create a conversation.
- Offer product/service tips, maintenance tips, and use FAQs to give you blog inspiration.
- Track the conversation online and respond.

- Let people share your products or services with other people. The way that this site does: Downtown Resource Group
- On your staff page, list your staff's social media handles. Add a share button.
